Custom with Luvari is not necessarily more expensive. We can sell high-quality custom jewelry directly to you without inflating the price to cover retail markups. We also work directly with precious metal suppliers to skip the go-between that results in additional price markups. We don’t pay sales commissions and buy precious metals in large quantities. But, in some cases with smaller budgets(<$1000), purchasing one of the pre-designed stock pieces from our website may be a better option. Our professional jewelry concierges would be happy to help you choose the best option from our extensive collection.
Most custom projects take 4-6 weeks to complete. Our master goldsmiths and production managers evaluate each individual project carefully. Based on the complexity of the piece, each project is given an estimated completion date. Luvari is proud to maintain a 95% on-time or early track record.
If you have a short timeframe and need something fast, our designers can assist you with options. It is possible to get a ring made quickly, but because each custom ring is different, it must be evaluated and managed individually.
Luvari also offers a loaner ring program that provides a stand-in temporary ring until your custom project is complete (ask us for more details!).
All Luvari gemstones and diamonds are ethically sourced from reputable diamond and gemstone wholesalers within the United States.
Custom jewelry sales are final and may not be returned. All jewelry must be in clean, unworn, and sellable condition to be accepted for return or exchange. We reserve the right to charge a damage fee on any rings returned that are not in new and unused condition. Within 45 days from receipt, you may exchange or return your stock ring.
PLEASE NOTE there is a $40 restocking fee for all returns. There is no restocking fee for exchanges. Engraved tungsten and engraved ceramic ring sales are FINAL and may not be returned or exchanged.
Not all diamonds and gemstones are GIA Certified. If you request Certified stones for your piece, we will include the certificate with it when we ship it.
All Luvari product packages require an adult signature upon delivery. If you’re not home at the time of drop-off, look for the notice that will be left to schedule a re-delivery. You may also request to pick the package up at your nearest post office through the USPS website. If you have any concerns about the delivery of your order, please feel free to contact us or your local FedEx office.
No, we do not sell blood or conflict diamonds. In 2000, a coalition of governments, non-governmental organizations, and the diamond industry worked together to address the issue of conflict diamonds.
In 2002, they established the Kimberley Process Certification System, a UN-backed process that has virtually eliminated the trade in conflict diamonds. Today, over 99% of the world's supply of diamonds is from sources free of conflict. The diamonds offered for sale on our site have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and comply with the Kimberley Process Certification System and the United Nations Resolutions.
Luvari guarantees that these diamonds are conflict-free, based on personal knowledge and written guarantees provided by the suppliers of our diamonds, and that we have undertaken reasonable measures to help prevent the sale of conflict diamonds in this country.

It usually takes about 15-20 minutes to get started as we strive to personalize your meeting and understand your ideas. However, most of us need to work within realistic financial parameters, and our expertise with a variety of materials and stones can assist in optimizing your budget for nearly any piece.
We create custom jewelry for every budget, but only you know your unique needs. The decision on what to spend is a personal choice. According to The Knot's 2023 Jewelry and Engagement Study, “the average cost of an engagement ring is currently about $5,500.”
However, this range can vary greatly, with “nearly half of all respondents spending between $1,000 to $4,000 on their engagement ring. In fact, 9% of ring shoppers spend under $1,000.” We can help you engineer your design to meet your situation with SmartDesign. We have up to 13 different SmartDesign options to meet nearly every budget and luxury standard.
While we do not charge for our design services, we require a 50% deposit to start production and final payment before we can ship your piece.
We take all major credit cards and offer financing at checkout (we work with a third-party financing company). The final payment is due when the project is complete and before we can ship.
